Dr.
Bruner joined the Clinic of Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck
Surgery in 1999 after nine years with the Oschner Clinic of
Baton Rouge's Department of Otolaryngology. A 1973 graduate of
Tulane University in New Orleans, he graduated from LSU Medical
School in 1977. He completed his Internship at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center in 1978, followed by his Residency at Brook Army
Medical Center in 1982.
From
1980-1982 Dr. Bruner served as Army Representative to the Resident
Physician Section of the American Medical Association. Further
experience led him to the 98th General Hospital in Neurenberg,
West Germany, where he served as the Chief of Otolaryngology,
Chief of Outpatient Surgery and Consultant to the Commanding
General. Back in Louisiana, he
practiced at St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles; at Hamilton
Medical Center in Lafayette; Lafayette General in Lafayette; and
the Medical Center of Baton Rouge, where he was Associate Medical
Director, Sleep Disorders from 1994-1999. He received his board
certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology in
November 1982.
